“The Summer Choral Institute is a nationally renowned leadership and choral music training program. All singers will live on the campus of Kansas State University for the duration of the Institute, study with our internationally renowned faculty in rehearsals and private lessons, attend leadership training activities including a high ropes challenge course, visit museums, and experience many other multi-disciplinary activities. The Institute culminates with a concert performance and recognition luncheon on the final day.“

Overall, we are both proud of each student’s diligence and preparation throughout this audition process. Regardless of your placement, be PROUD of your growth and commitment, as well as commend your choir family members.

If you do not see your name, your schedule will show either NV Tenor-Bass Ensemble 1-4 or NV Treble Ensemble 1-4 based on your auditioned voice part. Please contact us if you see an error or if you are needing additional clarification about placement. We are MORE than happy to talk with you, but respectfully ask that you wait 24 hours before contacting us.

*These placements have been determined based on the following criteria:

1) Service Hours
2) Audition Preparation
3) Sight-Reading
4) Teacher Recommendation, Choral/Campus Engagement
(for students outside the current THS choral program with an interest in advancement)

The vocal parts listed are subject to change.

NOTE: If you were selected for Varsity Chorale, you are required to attend the Timberview All-State Choir camp July 27th-31st, time and place TBD. (Unless you are attending a college camp the same week.) Please be ready to come in the following week for rehearsals once Mr. Forte and Mrs. Gatlin get our rehearsal dates for the 2026-2027 school year. (The week of August 3rd and August 10th.)
Time will be based on overall preference from the choir.

We collaborated with schools from across the country for a performance of Adolphus Hailstork‘s I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes and Nathaniel Dett’s The Chariot Jubilee under the direction of Mr. Forte! Students were able to attend a phenomenal performance of @hadestown, the @911memorial, the @empirestatebldg, and @sylviasrestaurant in Harlem. We are proud to represent @mansfieldisd and our community! Thank you to all our students, chaperones, and donors for this once in a lifetime performance! #WolvesRiseTogether #carnegiehall
