TIMBERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR
YOU Belong in Choir!
We are so excited about your interest in joining the THS Choir! We have a choir to call home for everyone. Please make sure to speak to your counselor as soon as possible and sign-up for choir on your course registration form.
Our choir program has 2 choirs open to all students regardless of their experience and skill level. Women/Treble singers will be placed in Concert Treble and Men/Tenor-Bass will be placed in the Tenor-Bass Ensemble. Auditioning is not required for placement in either of these 2 ensembles. Simply signup for choir and you are in!
We look forward to singing and making music with everyone in these ensembles.

In addition to the above ensembles, we have 3 other choirs that require auditions - Intermediate Treble, Viva di Voce (show choir), and Varsity Chorale (This choir is our ambassador choir, and will also make the Varsity Treble and Varsity Tenor-Bass choirs. Incoming 9th Grade
Sign-up for choir on your course registration form. Click HERE, to fill out the required audition form. Auditions for Select Choirs will be taken place on the Middle School campus in late April. Current choir students will audution during their choir class. If you are NOT currently enrolled in choir and would like to audition, please email Mr. Forte: jasonforte@misdmail.org

Viva di Voce Show Choir Auditions
Viva di Voce show choir auditions will be held Wednesday, May 8th, from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the choir room. We will have a choreography day on Monday, May 6th, from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. The choreography day is mandatory to attend in order to audition. Be sure to fill out the form HERE. A sign-up sheet will be posted the week of the auditions, as well as the audition excerpt resources. James Coble Middle School students interested in auditioning for Viva di Voce will have a choreography day on Thursday, May 4th during classes. Viva di Voce show choir auditions will then be held for Coble students the following Monday, May 8th during classes at James Coble middle school. The show choir audition will consist of:
1. 1-minute excerpt of your choice of a solo piece
2. Audition excerpt of singing ONLY
3. Audition excerpt of BOTH singing and dancing
If you are New to Mansfield ISD and Timberview...
If you are coming to Mansfield ISD from another school district the same audition material still applies. However, your audition will be at some point after you officially register with Mansfield ISD. We are happy to answer any questions and help prepare for auditions.
